Episode #016: Obligatory Suspension (as all comics once have to do).

Somehow, I thought it would be manageable to run Edible Pet from my current location in China. Somehow, I thought I would have the time and ability to regularly update EP. Somehow, I thought my ancient laptop would be up for the task, and certainly not break down. Somehow, not one of these thoughts lasted for long. Somehow, it is not funny waiting for 2 hours, uploading your images with an FTP program run from a floppy disk. Somehow, it is no fun to then start the process over again because Chinese computers do not understand the convencience of "cookies" (the edible kind of cookies are crap too, by the way). Somehow, I turned out to be friggin busy every single minute of my day, which is great, but the spare time I do have should definately not be wasted on such trivial things as documenting my (Nate's) 'adventures' because I just lived through them all myself, and frankly, it's giddarned boring to recap every single thing that I do, every single day. Not that this was a problem with EP, but it just adds up to the string of emails and crap I have to write about this godforsaken place. So therefore, until further notice, Edible Pet has been rescheduled to zero, zilch updates a week. When it picks up again, and do not doubt that it will, it will be either after my travels or fictive, or both. For now, until then.

This is the first time I update it from China myself. I didn't have any more comics to last me another week, so, well, I was forced to. No, there is a 7 week national holiday going on here right now, so I can find the time to get everything together. The main site has been recoded and therefore should work better and faster now, on all browsers and resolutions. All comics are best suited for 800 x 600 users. Until further notice Edible Pet will use a WEEKLY schedule, meaning that you can expect a new episode every friday until I find the time to add another day. If I do, it will probably be tuesday, and I will let you know.
